30-03-09 : MAYOR'S CHARITIES PROFIT TO THE TUNE OF £400
The latest concert staged by the Sleaford Concert Band was in aid of The Mayor of Sleaford's nominated charities. The band played in a new venue for them, The Source in Southgate, Sleaford and the packed audience enjoyed a superb concert of popular music. The band finished the evening to a standing ovation and the total money raised from the concert was in the region of £400.
30 - 03-09 : SLEAFORD CONCERT BAND SUPPORTS HELP FOR HEROES
The Sleaford Concert Band is proud to have been able to help the Armed Forces charity - Help for Heroes. As a result of the annual Christmas Concert, the band has donated £250 towards the fund. This is particularly poignant for some of the musicians who served in the Armed Forces during the first Gulf War.
