| Yet another good turn out by the audience for one of our concerts. Approx 350 people enjoyed a concert performance that showed the band off to its best. The music was chosen with "Help for Heroes" in mind and "Music for Heroes" proved very popular with the audience. The highlight of the evening for me was the bands performance of Last of the Mohicans. A very thought provoking piece of music. Over £1000 was raised from this concert in aid of the Help for Heroes Appeal. God Bless all our Service personnel. | ||

| The Sleaford Concert Band joined forces with the Humberside Police Band to perform this massed bands concert. No rehearsals - the bands met for the first time at 6pm on the evening of the performance. Everything went well - thank goodness. Even the trumpeter and piper on the cherrypickers 50 feet above the audience went without a hitch!! An estimated audience of 2500 people enjoyed the stirring programme of music and the stunning firework display at the end of the evening. Well done both bands. | ||
